LEGO Creator is one of the most fun series you will ever experience, and it is a fantastic way to get your children involved with the hobby. This summer, the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 collection is expanding with six new boxes, featuring sizeable builds and plenty of detail and play value.
The six sets announced for the summer, and specifically August 1, 2025, include Medieval Horse Knight Castle (31168), Unicorn Castle (31175), Beautiful Horse (31166), Retro Telephone (31174), Haunted Mansion (31167), and Tropical Toucan (31173).
Medieval Horse Knight Castle (31168)

The first set in the Creator 3-in-1 collection is the 1,371-piece Medieval Horse Knight Castle (31168).
The set will retail for $129.99, and a pre-order date has not been set. The set features three alternative builds, including a small section of a castle wall backed by houses, a towering castle gate and turrets, and a tribune from which the King and Queen watch knights jousting in tournaments.
There are six minifigures included in the box, with the King himself, various knights, and other servants, as well as a black-clad knight appearing as the antagonist.
Unicorn Castle (31175)

Forget about the uncouthness of the Middle Ages and think flying ponies and unicorns, because Unicorn Castle (31175) is just that. Children are invited to dream their own story as they play with the unicorn and Pegasus minifigures and explore the 390-piece set. Unicorn Castle will retail for $44.9,9 and it offers three builds to spark the imagination of young builders.
Among them are multi-colored castle itself, which is based in a way that shows that it is in fact floating in the clouds, and a woodland fairy house complete with fun-looking details like a golden statue towering over the top of an arch, and not least – a magic raft that will have the unicorn and Pegasus characters set sail for new adventures.
Beautiful Horse (31166)

Beautiful Horse (31166) is another brilliant build to share with younger builders, whether as part of a build session or as a gift. The set features 685 pieces and retails for $54.99, offering minimalistic scenery for each of its three builds, just for a bit of extra character.
While the main build features the eponymous horse trotting across a flower bed and lush green grass, there are also fun alternative builds to explore, including a deer or even a bear trying to catch fish at a cascading stream.
Alternatively, you can build the horse rearing up on its hind legs, which adds to the completeness and variety of the set, making for fun, quick builds. The only downside, as with all LEGO Creator 3-in-1 sets, is that you cannot build all options at the same time.
Retro Telephone (31174)

Retro Telephone (31174) is a cute little build. The rotary phone is a realistic build that may be lost on many of the younger builders, but surely fascinates with the idea of how people would ring up each other in the past. Hint, it was not with the help of portable devices at all.
The set comes with 383 pieces and is already available to pre-order for $29.99. The set will release on August 1, 2025, along with the rest of the new LEGO Creator 3-in-1 additions.
Built in soft blue, with grey components for the rotary dial and a white cord to further add to the contrast, Retro Telephone (31174) is an awesome new set. There is even a brick-built pencil and a small yellow notepad to take notes!
Haunted Mansion (31167)

Haunted Mansion (31167) is reminiscent of the discontinued Monster Hunters collection, with the latest release featuring 5 spooky minifigures: a werewolf, vampire, ghost with a glow-in-the-dark cape, Frankenstein’s monster, and a skeleton.
The opportunities to tell a story are virtually endless, as each of the characters may or may not get along with each other. The Haunted Mansion, which is the main build, does not leave much room for interior, and focuses on looking foreboding while the eerie characters bustle about, with a creaky unchained front door welcoming anyone who may dare enter.
The alternative builds here include a train locomotive, which looks absolutely amazing, and a sinking ghost ship, which will really add character to any possible display or play scenario.
With 736 pieces and going for $89.99, this set is a great value, and it reminds us of the recently approved LEGO Ideas Halloween House project or its predecessor, the now-retired Haunted House (10228)
Tropical Toucan (31173)

Finishing on a slightly lighter note, the Wild Animals: Tropical Toucan (31173) set is another fun option to get. It is by far the smallest in the upcoming set collection and comes in at only 225 pieces with a decent $17.99 price tag.
The set features the Tropical Toucan itself, along with a flower and a slice of watermelon, but also fun alternative builds such as colorful butterfly landed on a flower, and a tropical fish, really offering a decent variety for its size and cost.
Each of the three builds is detailed with small touches of environment variety to really make for an immersive story, and besides, we think the Tropical Toucan (31173) may fit perfectly with the Thieves of Tortuga, one of the five winners in the BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 competition.
