The LEGO Group continues to expand its summer 2025 lineup with nine brand-new Harry Potter sets, bringing iconic moments from the books and movies to life. This comes at the same time that the company detailed their new Creator 3-in-1 and LEGO Marvel sets.
Fans can look forward to Quidditch gear, a Chomping Book of Monsters, a new modular addition to Hogwarts Castle, and more. With so many magical builds on the horizon, there’s a lot to discover when the LEGO Harry Potter 2025 summer wave hits shelves on June 1.
The new sets include Thestral Family (76458), Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower (76454), which offers plenty of opportunity to modularly build into other sets, and Quality Quidditch Supplies & Ice Cream Parlor (76452).
Privet Drive: Aunt Marge’s Visit (76451) will strike fear in the hearts of Harry Potter fans who remember the dreadful aunt and her insufferable personality — but don’t worry, LEGO has found a way to deflate the situation with a bit of humor.
Another noteworthy addition to the series is Harry Potter Book Nook: Hogwarts Express (76450), along with Chomping Monster Book of Monsters (76449), Fawkes: Dumbledore’s Phoenix (76448), Hogwarts Castle: Herbology Class (76445) and not least, the LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar 2025 (76456), for those of you who don’t mind adding to their minifigure collection.
Let’s take a look at each of the upcoming sets in the lines below.
Thestral Family (76458)

The Thestral Family (76458) offers a loving, nurturing take on one of the wizarding world’s most haunting creatures. Only those who’ve witnessed great personal loss in Harry Potter lore can see a Thestral. But LEGO’s version embraces warmth and inclusivity, featuring a mother and baby Thestral. With 548 pieces, the set retails for $69.99, launches June 1, 2025, and is suitable for ages 10+. AFOLs, gift-givers, and Harry Potter fans will all find something magical in this thoughtful release.
Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower (76454)

Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower (76454) continues LEGO’s architectural exploration of the wizarding school, offering a detailed and modular addition that fits seamlessly into previous builds. The set includes 12 minifigures, appealing to collectors and fans alike, plus 6 collectible Hogwarts portraits.
Play value is strong, thanks to standout characters and creatures like Fluffy, Fawkes, Hedwig, and beloved figures such as Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Nearly Headless Nick, and Albus Dumbledore. This is a set that not only celebrates Hogwarts’ grand design — it lets you build the story, too.
Quality Quidditch Supplies & Ice Cream Parlor (76452)

If you want to add to your Diagon Alley builds with a fun and thematic set, the Quality Quidditch Supplies & Ice Cream Parlor (76452) is the right choice. Featuring Florean Fortescue, Katie Bell, Alicia Spinnet, Ron Weasley, Cho Chang, and a shopkeeper minifig, along with the two buildings – Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor & Quality Quidditch Supplies – the set has much to offer, both in terms of display and play value.
You can explore the interior of the shops, both of which run on two floors and slot minifigs lounging on the second floor of Florean Fortescue’s or have them look at Quidditch paraphernalia, including what certainly appears to be at least a pair of Nimbus racing brooms, but also googles and other protective gear. After all, you never know when a bludger may try to take you out!
They will retail for $99.99, coming in at 795 pieces for a fulfilling, fun, and ultimately rewarding build owing to its modularity.
Harry Potter Book Nook: Hogwarts Express (76450)

Ron and Harry will relive their early school-day camaraderie in LEGO Harry Potter Book Nook: Hogwarts Express (76450) with the pair joined by Hedwig, Harry’s faithful owl, for good measure. The set doubles as King’s Cross Platform 9 ¾, where young wizards and their families rush through a convincing concrete wall to end up on the magic platform from which Hogwarts Express leaves.
The folding mechanism of this 832-piece set quickly allows you to get inside the train wagon itself, where Ron and Harry, Hedwig, and Scabbers will have fun trying the whimsical foods from the cart shop wheeling through the train. Whether you want to enjoy the snug interior, admire the beautiful red train, or the iconic Platform 9 ¾ itself, there is much to value in getting out of this set. Harry Potter Book Nook: Hogwarts Express (76450) will retail for $99.99.
Chomping Monster Book of Monsters (76449)

Rubeus Hagrid was never one for subtlety, and when it comes to monsters and his teaching paraphernalia, he tends to be a little too trusting. Yet, Chomping Monster Book of Monsters (76449) is a real delight, with one of the few student books in a classroom that can eat you alive – or at least give it its absolute best shot.
Bloody hell, as Ronald would say. This set comes in at 518 pieces, and it makes sure that the Monster Book of Monsters is way bigger than the sole smiling minifig of Harry himself. Oh, and yes – the book’s chompers will actually try to turn The Boy Who Lived into breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you will have creative ways to explore the set!
Fawkes: Dumbledore’s Phoenix (76448)

Fawkes: Dumbledore’s Phoenix (76448) spotlights the Headmaster’s loyal phoenix and his fierce ally in the fight against Voldemort and the Death Eaters. The set includes 299 pieces and will retail for $22.99. Fawkes is perched on a golden stand, just like in the books, and is built using striking red bricks, with yellow and grey accents for contrast. The set also features the Sorting Hat, the Sword of Gryffindor, and an adorable baby Fawkes, capturing the phoenix’s rebirth in fire. Standing over 6.5” (16 cm) tall, this is a vibrant display piece you can also add Fawkes to your scenes.
Hogwarts Castle: Herbology Class (76445)

Professor Sprout is all about practical lessons, and Hogwarts Castle: Herbology Class (76445) will demonstrate just that. The set offers three minifigs, those of Neville Longbottom and Hermione Granger, along with Professor Sprout herself, who is carrying a Mandrake whose high-pitch scream can stupefy people when it’s mature.
The set is super thematic, featuring a scaled-down but richly detailed greenhouse where the professor keeps all of her gardening tools, and nurtures all interesting plant species to life. Younger builders may enjoy putting themselves in the shoes of young wizards and witches, picking the practical skills to handle a Mandrake, and immersing themselves in the world of magical herbology.
Coming in at 390 pieces and retailing for $49.99, this is another LEGO Harry Potter set that expands the Hogwarts Castle series and may be worth adding to your setup!
LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar 2025 (76456)

The LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar 2025 (76456) promises to be an even bigger delight. Retailing at $29.99 and featuring 278 pieces, the set includes 8 LEGO minifigs along with plenty of memorable items from the franchise, complete with Hogwarts acceptance letter, the Sorting Hat, Bertie Bott’s Every-Flavor Beans, magical potions, and a copy of The Monster Book of Monsters, among other paraphernalia.
There are also Buckbeak, Aragog, and a Stag Patronus, which are naturally scaled-down versions of the original, but all the same – neat little additions and a perfect gift for Harry Potter and LEGO fans.
With nine enchanting new sets landing on June 1, LEGO’s Harry Potter summer 2025 wave offers fans of all ages fresh ways to relive their favorite magical moments. Whether you’re expanding your Hogwarts Castle or adding Diagon Alley charm, there is something worth looking into early next month!
