  • LEGO Masters Season 5 premieres May 19, 2025, on FOX with 11 returning teams from the MOC and LEGO IDEAS scenes.
  • Hosted by Will Arnett, the season features pop culture themes like Star Wars and Wicked, plus a $100,000 prize.
  • Fan-favorites like ben_brickson and lobsterthermidorbuilds return for a high-stakes, brick-building showdown.

Think of it as the Master Chef of the LEGO-verse. Only, instead of a chef yelling back obscenities at you, you get a rather friendlier atmosphere of laidback brick-laying, but don’t let this fool you.

Things in LEGO Masters are as cut-throat as they can get. The show has made its mark on the LEGO fandom, bringing together interesting characters of seemingly low-key background who are, nevertheless, imaginative and capable LEGO builders whom your brick-steeped fan would actually know.

Will Arnett Returns With 11 New Teams and Big Challenges

Many are accomplished builders who have been present across the world of MOC (My Own Creation), LEGO IDEAS and other popular contests and community-voted projects. Better yet, many are coming back for the LEGO Masters Season 5 premiere on Monday, May 19, 2025.

The show will air on FOX, and the show is inspired by the original UK debut in 2017. The US version launched several years later, in 2020, and remains a steadfast legacy in the network’s programing.

The show’s new season, hosted by Will Arnett (the voice of LEGO Batman), promises to bring you plenty of excitement as the competitors – now revealed as 11 teams of LEGO builder pairs – will rush to complete brick-built scenes from various popular franchises, including Sta Wars, Wicked, Batman, and more.

Other than exchanging friendly banter and offering a few painful comments to assert their dominances, the contenders will similarly vie for a chance to win the ultimate $100,000 cash prize and a very special LEGO trophy. Arnett has commented on the upcoming season, promising it to be special indeed.

“This season, we have more twists than ever before. Fox isn’t messing around. There was a meeting about this. There were emails. Our Season 5 teams are next-level. Whatever level we were at before, now we’re at the next one.”

Fan-Favorite Builders Return to the Brick Arena

For those of you who have been around for a fair while, you will recognize many of the builders in the show, including ben_brickson, lobsterthermidorbuilds, brick_voyage, brickbuilderjohn, and many others.

Ben_brickson is known for his rich and outworldly scenery, which is fleshed out with details, while lobsterthermidorbuilds is a prolific builder with a soft spot for recreating architecture and densey-packed outdoors scenery.

All of the builders in Season 5 are experienced, skilled and quick with imaginative ideas, which will make for a great viewing experience and perhaps give you a few ideas about custom builds yourself.
